Fees and Refunds

How CC Courses manages course fees, payments, refunds, credits, transfers and Australian Consumer Law remedies.

1. Purpose

This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, replacements, credits and remedies are managed for CC Courses. Nothing in this policy limits rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law. Refunds and remedies depend on the type of product or service purchased, the reason for the request, whether the product or service has been accessed or delivered, and whether a major or minor problem exists.

CC Courses is part of Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) and CAQA Groups. This policy covers course fees paid by individuals, and bundle or seat-licence fees paid by teams and organisations, in connection with courses arranged through this website.

2. How fees work on this website

Fees may apply per course, per curated bundle, or per seat under a team licence covering teams from five to five thousand participants. This website does not operate a self-serve checkout: enrolments and licences are arranged through our contact page, by phone or by email, and every fee is confirmed in writing before you commit. Payment is made by the method stated in your enrolment confirmation or invoice, and all fees are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. If a course is described as free or included in an existing licence, no additional fee applies.

3. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our courses come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a course or related service has a major problem, you may choose a refund or a replacement and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the problem is minor, we may choose to fix it within a reasonable time, for example by repairing access, replacing faulty materials or providing the service again.

4. Change of mind

If you change your mind before access details are issued, we will refund the fee in full, less any clearly disclosed administration amount. Once access has been issued and course materials have been substantially accessed or downloaded, change-of-mind refunds are generally not available, although we may offer a transfer to another course or a credit at our discretion. This does not affect your Australian Consumer Law rights.

5. If we cancel or materially change a course

If CC Courses withdraws a course you are enrolled in before you can reasonably complete it, or changes it so materially that it no longer matches what you purchased, you may choose a full refund of the unused value, a credit, or a transfer to a comparable course.

6. Non-attendance and non-completion

Choosing not to start a course, not completing it within the stated access period, or partially completing it does not by itself create a refund entitlement. If circumstances such as illness or hardship prevent completion, contact us: we will consider extensions, deferrals or credits on a case-by-case basis, as described in our Cancellation Policy.

7. Team licences and bundles

For team licences, the written licence confirmation states the number of seats, the licence period and any agreed refund or substitution arrangements. Where a nominated participant leaves your organisation, substituting another participant into the seat is normally the first remedy. Unused seats are not automatically refundable, but we will work with licence administrators on fair outcomes, including credits towards future cohorts.

8. How to request a refund

Send your request through the contact pathway below with the enrolment or invoice reference, the course or licence name, and the reason for the request. We assess requests against this policy and the Australian Consumer Law, aim to respond within ten business days, and pay approved refunds to the original payment method unless agreed otherwise. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may ask for the decision to be reviewed by a manager, and nothing prevents you from contacting your local consumer protection agency.

9. Contact
