Certificates issued for CC Courses short courses are certificates of completion. They confirm that the named participant completed the required lessons, activities and assessments of a named short course, and record the course title and the date of completion. Where a course involves attendance only and no assessment, the certificate will describe itself as a certificate of attendance or participation. The certificate type that applies to a course is stated in the course inclusions at the time of enrolment.
Certificates are normally issued electronically as a PDF shortly after completion is recorded, and each certificate shows the participant name, the course title, the completion date and, where stated in the course inclusions, the nominal learning hours. Printed copies can be arranged on request.
CC Courses short courses are professional development products. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing for a specific program, certificates issued through this website are not nationally recognised qualifications, are not statements of attainment issued under the Australian Qualifications Framework, are not the outcome of competency-based assessment conducted by a registered training organisation, and are not occupational licences, registrations, tickets or regulatory approvals of any kind. A CC Courses certificate does not make a person qualified to perform regulated work that requires a formal qualification, licence or registration.
Many participants use CC Courses certificates as evidence of continuing professional development. Whether a particular professional body, employer or regulator accepts a course towards CPD points or professional development hours is a decision for that body. We recommend confirming acceptance with your professional body before enrolling if CPD recognition is the main reason for your study.
Completing a course and receiving a certificate does not guarantee employment, promotion, salary outcomes, admission into further study, migration outcomes, or the grant of any licence or registration. Those decisions rest with employers, education providers, professional bodies and government authorities, who apply their own criteria.
Certificates are issued in the name provided at enrolment, so please check your details carefully when enrolling. If a certificate contains an error, contact us and we will correct and reissue it. If you lose a certificate, we can reissue it against our completion records. Certificates must not be altered, edited or used by any person other than the named participant; altered or misrepresented certificates will be treated as invalid and may lead to withdrawal of access under our Course Terms.
Employers and organisations may verify a CC Courses certificate by contacting us with the participant name, course title and completion date shown on the certificate; we verify against our records with the participant's consent or as otherwise permitted by our Privacy Policy. Organisations with team licences can also track completions through their licence dashboards and reporting.
Where a course description suggests pathways into deeper programs or formal qualifications, those pathways are general guidance only. Entry into any qualification remains subject to the admission requirements of the provider that delivers it.
