How to cancel, defer or transfer a CC Courses enrolment or team licence, and what happens if CC Courses cancels or changes a course.
This Cancellation Policy explains how enrolments, bundles and team seat licences arranged through CC Courses can be cancelled, deferred or transferred, and what happens when CC Courses itself cancels or changes a course. CC Courses is part of Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) and CAQA Groups. This policy works together with our Fees and Refunds policy and does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may cancel an enrolment at any time before access details are issued by contacting us with your enrolment reference. Cancellations at this stage receive a full refund of any fee paid, less any clearly disclosed administration amount. Because enrolments on this website are confirmed in writing through our contact pathway rather than an instant checkout, most cancellation requests made promptly fall into this category.
Once access has been issued, cancellation does not automatically create a refund entitlement, particularly where lessons have been substantially accessed or materials downloaded. Depending on how much of the course has been used and the reason for the cancellation, we may offer a partial credit, a transfer to another course, or a refund where the Australian Consumer Law requires one. Tell us as early as possible: earlier requests give us more options.
If illness, carer responsibilities, workload or other genuine circumstances interrupt your study, contact us before your access period ends. We can usually defer your enrolment to a later start, extend an access period for a reasonable time, or transfer your enrolment to a different course of comparable value. Transfers to a higher-priced course require payment of the difference; transfers to a lower-priced course may create a credit.
We may cancel or reschedule a course, cohort or intake where enrolments are insufficient, where content must be withdrawn for quality or currency reasons, or where circumstances beyond our control make delivery impracticable. In these cases you may choose a full refund of the unused value, a credit, or a transfer to a comparable course. We may also cancel an individual's access without refund where there is a serious breach of our Course Terms, such as assessment misconduct or credential sharing.
Licence administrators may substitute participants into licensed seats at any time in line with the licence confirmation. Cancelling an entire licence or cohort is handled under the written licence terms; where those terms are silent, unused seats are addressed first by substitution or credit, and refund questions are assessed under our Fees and Refunds policy.
Send your cancellation, deferral or transfer request through the contact pathway below, including the participant name, course or licence reference and the outcome you are seeking. We confirm every cancellation in writing and aim to respond within ten business days. A cancellation is not effective until we have confirmed it, so please retain our confirmation for your records.
Requests are assessed by the CC Courses team against this policy, the written confirmation that applies to your enrolment or licence, and any evidence you provide, such as medical certificates for hardship-based requests. Keeping your contact details current helps us confirm outcomes without delay, and you may nominate another person to manage a request on your behalf with your written consent.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Cancellation, deferral and transfer requests for CC Courses can be raised at any time.
